The Lord Will Answer

"If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you."

The Lord Will Answer
Therefore, no one has the right to make his own way to God through his own devotion or works. . .. You must come to Him through the Seed of Abraham and be blessed through Him, according to the wording of the testament of God. . .. Since the divine nature is so high and intangible for us, He has for our good taken on Himself the nature most familiar to us: our own. That is how He wants to care for us; that is where He wants to be found, and nowhere else. Whoever calls on Him here is immediately heard. Here is the throne of grace, where no one who comes is excluded. The others, who let Him dwell here in vain and would otherwise serve and call on the God who created heaven and earth, already have their answer when [the psalmist] says, 'They call, but there is no helper; to the Lord, but He does not answer them" (Psalm 18:41).
