Higher than Heaven
Can you find out the deep things of God? Can you find out the limit of the Almighty? It is higher than heaven—what can you do? Deeper than Sheol—what can you know? Its measure is longer than the earth and broader than the sea.

Higher than Heaven
The world is a complicated place. It is often difficult for Christians simply because we are Christians. There are things and situations we don’t always understand or even agree with. Yet it does not mean that God is distant or aloof. We do not fully understand the things of God, and how could we? A child does not understand the things his parents do, yet this does not turn them from them. In fact, it draws them closer. They want to know their parents; they want to understand them. In a small way this is how we look at God. We don’t understand everything that happens or why God does the things He does, but we want to. And lead by the Holy Spirit we look to the only place we can for answers. We look to God’s Word, the Bible. It is here where God reveals Himself. Not fully, for we still cannot understand all ways of God, but what our eyes are opened to is precisely what God wants us to see. We are shown our Savior and all which He did for us so that our broken lives could be healed through His wounds. In faith we are made to understand our salvation. And those things still unknow, we listen to God knowing, “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts” (Isaiah 55:9).
