Jesus’ Word
And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit to Galilee, and a report about him went out through all the surrounding country. And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified by all.

Jesus’ Word
God sent His only Son into our world so that we might know Him and the truth of salvation, which lies only in Him. And He gives us this knowledge through faith given to us by His Word. Jesus teaches us that He is the way, the truth, and the life and that no one comes to the Father except through Him. And it is here in these verses that Jesus begins to teach publicly for the first time since He was a child. We are to meditate upon Jesus’ teaching, and we rely on the work of the Holy Spirit to believe them as truth. And in this faith, we are bold to proclaim these truths to others. May the Holy Spirit continue to bless our speech and lead others to the Lord through His Words which humble repentant sinners like ourselves joyfully proclaim. What blessings God bestows through the Gospel!
