The Woes—The Spoken Well Of
The cross of Jesus is a target on your back. The world hates the Christian. The devil raises an attack against you. The message of the Gospel is not what the world wants to hear and hates you because of Jesus and his cross. But the world rewards those with a message that sooths their itching ears. They like those who preach false words and a false gospel. Be prepared, O Christian, for you will not be spoken well of. You will not be liked by the world and the enemies of God. However, your joy will be complete. You will rejoice on account of Jesus and his work on the Cross for you and for the world. Leap for joy in the forgiveness of Jesus’ work. Your reward is very great in heaven on account of Jesus. There is much rejoicing in heaven over you, O Christian.
