Good Fruit
“For no good tree bears bad fruit, nor again does a bad tree bear good fruit, 44 for each tree is known by its own fruit. For figs are not gathered from thornbushes, nor are grapes picked from a bramble bush. 45 The good person out of the good treasure of his heart produces good, and the evil person out of his evil treasure produces evil, for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks." Luke 6:43-45

Good Fruit
Good works cannot avert our doom. They help and save us never. The only thing that saves us is the good work of Jesus on the cross. He is our only salvation. If it were not for the fruit of the cross, we would be doomed. But Christians do good works. Good works do have a place. They are necessary for our life as a Christian. Christians are known by their love for one another. The faith, which grows in their hearts, bears fruit in the life of the believer. The Christian is a good person because of the faith that clings to Jesus Christ and his cross. The work of the Holy Spirit makes a person good. The good treasure in the heart bears good fruit or good work in the life of a Christian. Thus, it is the work of Jesus bearing much fruit in the life of a Christian through faith.
