26 For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; 27 and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error.

Natural Things
We come up with all kinds of gods to worship. We pervert the natural gifts that God has given us in order to chase after our false gods. But God will not be mocked. He made us male and female. It was that way in the beginning and it is still that way now. It is God that makes us. He fits us together with the perfect help-meet to compliment us and complete us. He gives us the gift of sex as a treasure of marriage. He gives us sex in order to give us children. In our current culture, like the culture in Rome, these dishonorable passions are praised. His institution of marriage is mocked. God's gift of children and family is trampled on and dirtied. Jesus comes to forgive this sin, too. He comes to make us new and to redirect our hearts away from our false gods and instead place the Living God at the center of our life. This is the work of his Cross and his Holy Spirit to bring it to you. Jesus cares about marriage. He cares about your sexuality. He created you either a man or a woman. He became a man to redeem all men and women. Jesus' cross redeems you and makes you new.
