God's Temple
16 Do you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you? 17 If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him. For God’s temple is holy, and you are that temple.

God's Temple
The location of the living God makes temples. God has chosen to dwell in you. In Psalm 51 we see that God creates a clean heart and you. He chooses to dwell in a place not made by human hands, but by the power of his Word. He creates faith in you and destroys your heart of flesh by the preaching of his Word. In the hearing of his Word he makes faith in you. So, though you are struggling with sin still now, you are counted holy by your God, for God's Holy Spirit dwells richly in you. He grants you the gifts of Jesus' cross and resurrection. You are alive to God because of his gracious visitation in you.
