Light in the Darkness

4 This is how one should regard us, as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God. 2 Moreover, it is required of stewards that they be found faithful. 3 But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you or by any human court. In fact, I do not even judge myself. 4 For I am not aware of anything against myself, but I am not thereby acquitted. It is the Lord who judges me. 5 Therefore do not pronounce judgment before the time, before the Lord comes, who will bring to light the things now hidden in darkness and will disclose the purposes of the heart. Then each one will receive his commendation from God.

Light in the Darkness
You have been given a stewardship. You are under orders and have been given skills and things to keep and protect. The Lord has blessed you in this way. The world will rage and spite against you trying to judge you for your so called good works. But it is a small thing. The real Judge is Jesus. He is the author and finisher of your faith. He is the one that prepared your stewardship for you before the beginning of time. You have worth and holiness because of his work to you and for you. The Lord is light in the darkness of this life. He is the light that the darkness cannot overcome. When God sees his own, he sees the righteousness that he has granted by his cross and passion. Thanks be to God that he loves you this way.
