Variety of Gifts
4 Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; 5 and there are varieties of service, but the same Lord; 6 and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who empowers them all in everyone. 7 To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good.

This Spirit is generous. He gives you the things of heaven. He wraps you in the righteousness of Christ Jesus and his cross. God has the perfect gifts for you and your situation. He is the one that has empowered you in your life and vocations. Saint Paul reminds us that God has given us this Spirit. This Spirit is the one that cleanses us from all unrighteousness and makes us his own. This Spirit is the one that dwells richly in us. He has made our hearts his residence and we have been made new in Christ by this manifestation of the Spirit for the common good.
