Bold

10 I, Paul, myself entreat you, by the meekness and gentleness of Christ—I who am humble when face to face with you, but bold toward you when I am away!— 2 I beg of you that when I am present I may not have to show boldness with such confidence as I count on showing against some who suspect us of walking according to the flesh. 3 For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh. 4 For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. 5 We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ, 6 being ready to punish every disobedience, when your obedience is complete.
2 Co 10:1–6.

Bold

The enemies of God are your enemies, too. They attack your body and your soul. They know the importance of both. We ignore the importance of our soul. The physical always outweighs and tips the balance in our lives. The devil knows this. God knows this. God knows that the battle is not aimed at the flesh. We are waging war in the spiritual realm. Your soul is the target. Your faith is in the crosshairs. But God's Word is your weapon. Your faith is bold. You fight with the weapons that destroy strongholds. In your hand, or rather, on your lips is the Word of God. The Word of the Cross. The Word of the Death of Death and the Word of the Resurrection to eternal life in Jesus Christ. That Word destroys arguments and lofty opinions and every attack from the enemies of God. God our Lord unites with you in this fight.
