The Rock That Stands Forever

34 As you looked, a stone was cut out by no human hand, and it struck the image on its feet of iron and clay, and broke them in pieces. 35 Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver, and the gold, all together were broken in pieces, and became like the chaff of the summer threshing floors; and the wind carried them away, so that not a trace of them could be found. But the stone that struck the image became a great mountain and filled the whole earth.
Daniel 2:34-35

The Rock That Stands Forever
In Nebuchadnezzar’s dream, a stone not cut by human hands crushed the mighty statue, reducing it to dust. The kingdoms of this world, no matter how powerful, are fleeting. But the stone grew into a great mountain, filling the whole earth. This is Christ and His eternal kingdom. Jesus, the Rock of our salvation, was rejected by the world and crucified. Yet through His death and resurrection, He established a kingdom that will never be destroyed. Earthly powers rise and fall, but the Church remains, built on Christ, the cornerstone. When the world around us seems unshakable, we remember that only Christ’s kingdom will endure. In Him, we find true security, not in political might or human strength, but in the cross. The Rock has come, and His reign is everlasting. Lord, keep us firm in faith, trusting in Your unshakable kingdom.
