No Life in You
52 The Jews then disputed among themselves, saying, “How can this man give us his flesh to eat?” 53 So Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. 54 Whoever feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.
John 6:52-54

No Life in You
Apart from Jesus Christ, there is no eternal life. The second person of the Holy Trinity becomes Man in order to save and give life to you and me. He knows that there is no life in us apart from him. The devil wants you to think that all religions lead to eternal life. However, without Jesus, if he were not there, eternal life would be void and bare. Jesus comes in the flesh of humanity and dies on the cross to bring you to himself. He promises to be with you always and bids you eat and drink his body and blood for in it are the forgiveness of sins, life, and salvation. This is the Jesus that lives and reigns to all eternity. This is the Jesus that pours out his life for you. Rejoice in his visitation among us—even now.
