Content with His Will
Delight yourself in the LORD, and He will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD; trust in Him, and He will act.
PSALM 37:4-5

Content with His Will
Do not permit yourself to be vexed that God lets [the wicked] prosper so; indeed, take pleasure in it as the very gracious will of God. Content yourself with His will. Then your dissatisfaction at the prosperity of the wicked will pass away. Look, here you have this comforting promise: "He will give you all that your heart desires." What more do you want? Only be sure that instead of this vexation you find joy and satisfaction in the will of God. Then your enemies will not only do you no harm, but your heart will also be full of peace and will joyfully await the fulfillment of this promise of God. . .. Committing our way to God does not mean that we do nothing. It means that though the hypocrites may denounce, ridicule, slander, or frustrate what we do, we must not give in to them or quit, but keep right on with it, letting them have their stubbornness and entrusting the whole cause to God, who will make it come out right on both sides.
