8 Now the point in what we are saying is this: we have such a high priest, one who is seated at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven, 2 a minister in the holy places, in the true tent that the Lord set up, not man.

Our Eternal High Priest
Jesus Christ serves as our eternal High Priest, seated at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven. Unlike earthly priests who served in the shadow of the heavenly realities, Jesus ministers in the true tent set up by the Lord. His priesthood is not confined to temporary rituals or earthly sanctuaries but is rooted in the finished work of the cross. On the cross, Jesus offered Himself as the once-for-all sacrifice for our sins, a perfect offering that earthly sacrifices could only foreshadow. His death tore the veil, granting us access to the presence of God. As our High Priest, He continually intercedes for us, applying His atoning blood to our lives. Through Christ, we live under a new covenant of grace and mercy. Let us draw near to Him in faith, confident in His completed work and eternal priestly care.
