Our Eternal Intercessor

23 The former priests were many in number, because they were prevented by death from continuing in office, 24 but he holds his priesthood permanently, because he continues forever. 25 Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them.
Heb 7:23–25

Our Eternal Intercessor
The Old Testament priesthood, with its many priests, was always limited. Each priest served for a time, but death inevitably ended their intercession for God’s people. Yet Christ, our eternal High Priest, is different. By His resurrection, He lives forever, offering unceasing intercession for us. Through His sacrifice on the cross, Jesus entered the heavenly sanctuary once and for all, securing our salvation. His priestly work is not temporary but eternal. As our living Savior, He continuously pleads for us before the Father, ensuring that the forgiveness He won through His blood remains ours forever. In Christ, we have a sure and steadfast hope. Though we stumble and sin, He remains faithful, bringing us to the Father through His perfect sacrifice. Rejoice in the confidence that our High Priest never ceases to pray for us, holding us in His grace until the day He brings us home.
