The Only Way
The entire Gospel of John . . . always points out that Christ is God's Son and sent by the Father. Whoever does not believe that He is true God is already lost, as He says, "If you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins" (John 8:24). Likewise: "In Him was life, and the life was the light of men" (John 1:4). Likewise: "I am the way and the truth and the life" (John 14:6) . . .. No one has the right to make his own way to God through his own devotion or works. It does not help when you call on God like the Jews and the Turks do; you must come to Him through the Seed of Abraham and be blessed through Him, according to the wording of the testament of God. He will not make a special one for you and for the sake of your service tear up His testament. You must abandon your own affairs and cling to this Seed, flesh and blood, or you are lost with all the skill and wisdom which you know from God, for He says, "No one comes to the Father except through Me" (John 14:6).
