In One Spirit
1 Corinthians 12:12-13
For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—Jews or Greeks, slaves or free—and all were made to drink of one Spirit.

In One Spirit
A new year is upon us. Resolutions are being made, and a fresh new outlook is before us. We have been given another year in which to live a life worthy of the Gospel of Christ. And it is in this renewed spirit that we are given all the fuel we will need to see us through the year ahead.
Though we know not what lies before us, what joys and successes we will experience, or what pains and sorrows may befall us, we go forth in one spirit, united in the knowledge that we have a Savior, Jesus Christ, who is our clear sign of our salvation. Whether we are surrounded by fellow believers or are isolated amongst the faithless, rejoice that we strive side by side with fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, in the faith given by the Holy Spirit in Baptism, which will carry us through. Our lives are created in the image of God, and as that image is restored in each of us by faith, we strive to live in harmony with what the Gospel teaches and motivates in the believer. Stand firm in the Gospel, “for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes” (Romans 1:16).
