Luke the beloved physician greets you, as does Demas. Give my greetings to the brothers at Laodicea, and to Nympha and the church in her house.

Greetings
We tend to think of our congregations as independent islands. Paul makes it a point to remind his readers that other congregations and other Christians from faraway lands are praying for you. When Jesus grafts you in the vine, he doesn’t just graft you into himself, he also grafts you in all of Christendom (all over the world and time). Luke greets you, Demas greets you, as do the saints at Our Savior Houston.
